People Are Boring
If there is one thing the Internet itself, and more recently and blogging, MySpace, Facebook and Tweeting have proven, it is the fact that George Carlin was right; people are boring. I'm boring, you're boring, Paris Hilton, Ashton Kucher and the whole frickin' Kardashian family are ultra boring; we are all boring, except for the 1 in a million person who is not. That means as of Oct 28 2009, there are approximately 6,793 people on Earth who are not boring, and one of them certainly is not the, "Most Interesting Man in the World," that just so happens to be one of the most boring advertising campaigns ever conceived and most certainly it was conceived by truly boring advertising executives.
First up, and the impetus which triggered the creation of this site, are the ultra boring espousings of Emily Gould. One would think that a person published in the New York Times would not be boring. Think Again. I must remember there are people even more boring than her out there, perhaps living in the middle of Idaho, Kansas or some other Godforsaken boring state, who find interesting that which is not very interesting at all. Mother Theresa is interesting, Emily Gould is boring.
This boring jackass has been one of the boring people posting boring crap online since 1997. He/she even goes as far as to write a piece about how boring he/she finds people participating in chatrooms. What an Einstein...
This boring jackass goes as far as to write a boring piece about how to avoid boring people. Here's a tip; unplug your network cable and get the hell off the Internet.
